Seaweed the food of the future by Fremtidens Mat (Future Food)

 

It was very inspiring to have Future Food at Veiholmen this summer. Zoe that was responsible for two courses and the PopUp kitchen. She showed us the wonderful product seaweed actual are, often called "the vegetables from the sea". She said as follow; "At the small island Veiholmen - far out in the ocean there are wonderful fresh produce, freshly caught Brismak, wing seaweed salad, homemade sugar kelp spices, edible flowers and radish - and on the top - wonderful people - local is global!" 

 

Zoe and Sven were also out fishing and managed to collected fresh seaweed to be prepared for the courses. The course was very well received and all participants agreed that this tasted great and far above expectations.
